This international top player in the production, service and inspection of gearboxes, found everything they needed for the assembly of quite an exceptional grab at Condor Heavy Services.

The grab, intended for use in the blast furnace industry, weighed 15 tons and was16 meters long. Because of this combination of weight and length, GBS was looking for a warehouse with both the lifting capacity and the height required for the precise alignment and installation of various components.

For the 3-weeks required by GBS, Condor Heavy Services facilitated a comfortable working environment within a cordoned off area of its climate-controlled warehouse. The 200-ton overhead crane and substantial dimensions offloor and height contributed to the smooth running of this assembly project.
